Marblehead Elementary Flex Academy

     It is with sincere gratitude and continued enthusiasm that I welcome you to a new year at Marblehead Flex Academy. As principal, I am honored to serve our diverse and thriving learning community in the beautiful coastal city of San Clemente. This year, I am especially proud to continue leading as we expand our Flex Academy offerings and uphold our commitment to educational excellence, inclusion, and Ohana—the Hawaiian value of extended family, connection, and collective responsibility.

 

     At Marblehead, Aloha is more than a greeting. It represents our way of being—rooted in love, compassion, and unity. These values guide every decision, every classroom experience, and every relationship we build together. Whether your child is learning through our 100% In-Person, Flex (3 days on campus), or 100% Independent Study model, we are committed to meeting students where they are and nurturing their growth with flexibility, respect, and individualized support.

 

     My journey as an educator spans 23 years and includes experience as an elementary teacher, school counselor, assistant principal, and principal across various districts. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication, two Master’s degrees in Cross-Cultural Education and School Counseling, and am currently pursuing my doctoral degree in Educational Leadership at Concordia University Irvine. As a lifelong learner, I bring both humility and passion to this work, recognizing that the evolving landscape of education demands innovation, empathy, and resilience.

 

     On a personal note, I am a proud wife and mother to three wonderful children who keep me grounded, inspired, and continuously connected to the parent perspective. As a fellow Capistrano Unified parent, I know firsthand the importance of partnership between school and home. At Marblehead Flex Academy, communication and collaboration are not just priorities—they are promises we live out daily.
