A WONDERFUL PLACE TO LEARN AND GROW!

The Marblehead Staff is committed to improving the life chances of every student every day.  Marblehead Elementary is known for its strong, academic instruction in a student-centered, welcoming environment.  The Common Core State Standards provide a clear and consistent framework to prepare our children for college and career.  These standards define the knowledge and skills students should have within their K-12 education so that they will graduate high school able to succeed in entry-level, credit-bearing academic college courses and in career training programs. The standards:

  • Are aligned with college and work expectations;
  • Are clear, understandable and consistent;
  • Include rigorous content and application of knowledge through high-order skills;
  • Build upon strengths and lessons of current state standards;
  • Are informed by other top performing countries, so that all students are prepared to succeed in our global economy and society; and
  • Are evidence-based.

Technology, an essential tool of learning, is available both in the classroom and in a lab setting. All students have their own Chromebooks for use during the instructional day.  Internet research and collaborative presentations are utilized on a regular basis. Every teacher utilizes a laptop computer, document camera and projector to enhance teaching and data access.

Marblehead is proud to have both an active PTA and Aloha Foundation.  Volunteers are visible in every classroom and school events. In addition, we maintain relationships with feeder schools, service organizations, law enforcement and community programs.  We are proud to have partnerships with:
