Marblehead Flex Academy is a dynamic, student-centered K–5 learning community dedicated to providing flexible, rigorous, and inclusive education to meet the diverse needs of today’s learners. Nestled in the heart of San Clemente, our school offers families the freedom to choose from three personalized learning pathways:
- 100% In-Person: A traditional classroom model with daily on-campus attendance and use of district-adopted curriculum.100%
- 100% Independent Study: A fully independent study option with daily virtual instruction, access to teachers, and in-person assessment completion.
- Flex Program: A hybrid model combining independent study and on-campus instruction three days a week (Tuesday–Thursday), with virtual instruction on remaining days. Students have access to enrichment programs, flexible scheduling, and tailored academic support.
All learning models are aligned with the California Common Core State Standards and designed to ensure that every student graduates prepared for future college and career success. Our instructional approach emphasizes high-level thinking, real-world applications, and digital fluency, while maintaining a deep commitment to relationships, wellness, and whole-child development.
Beyond academics, Marblehead Flex Academy fosters a vibrant campus culture through partnerships with families, local organizations, and community leaders. Our active PTA, YMCA partnership, and service collaborations enhance student engagement and support. Signature programs and enrichment opportunities include:
